Last trip to Singapore was certainly a good refreshing holiday for me. Not only was it refreshing, but it was actually super fun hanging out with my two older sisters and two super cute niece. And everytime i go there, there's always flashes of memories of secondary school time running through my mind, and i just wished i could travel back there.I actually felt grateful to have this holiday just to let my mind off the works and stress, and do shopping with the girls! I I wished i could go to Ikea though. So wasted. The stuff is great there, even just for window shopping and little design inspirations. Sadly, i could not meet any of my friends either, i was like hoping i could bump into any of them but none seemed hanging out in Orchard Rd on the weekdays. But i sorta indulge myself in the food. I just made sure i had each food listed on my list. I had all except nasi lemak.
Back to Jakarta, i could sense the whole surrounding was just so different. In a not very good way though. It's just not a friendly and pleasant thing when you see those people in charge at the airport doing their thingy sometimes.. like scanning your luggages on your way out again? asking you to unlock your luggages when you don't need to go through quarantine? keeping you in a room because you carry a LV bag? slitting your luggage because they suspect illegal stuff hidden then when they find none, they return it with no apologies? can i say that i hate those (very much)? It's like turning me off so much i just want to leave the place and swear i don't wanna come back. It really sucks and totally ruined the day. sigh.
But all in all, was a good trip to Singapore. Looking forward to visit again soon :D
