Since last entry was partly about "inspiration", I decided this one should be as well. My entry for today is about the BEST BREAKFAST i've ever had. Inspiration came when i was hungering for some food to satisfy morning stomach. It was then i remembered my best breakfast some years ago. Unfortunately i could not have it this morning, so instead i had Emie, Medanese noodle, which was really good as well.
One day during winter, a girl went to run her errands in the city before she headed home. Like any other day, she would rather shop in a chinese grocery for some asian food such as Tofu, Soy Bean Milk, Fish cakes, Coriander, Spinach, Asian instant noodles, etc. Adjancent to the grocery store was a bakery shop, displaying some mouth-watering gateau, egg tarts, various of buns etc. She decided to browse around thinking perhaps a bun would be good for tomorrow's breakfast. She skimmed through the bread loaves and realised they came in different flavors. There were plain ones, and others but She cannot remember. She could only remember the Taro. Since she liked Taro a lot, she picked that one, paid for it and went home.
The next morning, she was rather intrigued how the Taro loaf would taste like toasted. So she inserted 2 slices into the toaster then boiled water for a cup of green tea. Not long after, the toast was ready and so was the green tea. Already she could smell the deliciousness of the bread which was filling the kitchen. The first bite was a surprise as she never had a toast that tasty with perfect crunchiness, warmness, and sweetness. It was as if her frozen body was melted and the chilly winter subdued by it. And the green tea went just perfect with it too.
And so then she always enjoyed a simple breakfast - Sweet, Warm and Crunchy Taro Toast + with a cup of warm Japanese Green Tea. Served best in winter though.
(Sorry for the overly dramatized language :D)
